In search of Mechanieker
We are also doing our bit for a circular world!
A few years ago, we invested in a new P+MD sorting line at our Rumbeke site. Collected PMD waste is transported to our fully automated sorting installation. There, the recyclable and recoverable materials are separated and baled.
For the team of mechanics we are looking for you! Together with your colleagues, you will be responsible for the (preventive) maintenance of:
The PMD sorting line (75%):
For this, you first prepare all kinds of mechanical parts in the atelier: welding constructions, saws, grinding lubrications, roller belts, brackets, etc.
You regularly check the gearboxes and make repairs if necessary.
Every Wednesday and Saturday morning, we shut down our sorting line for preventive maintenance.
Together with the maintenance team (internal and external), you ensure optimum operation of this sorting line.
Interventions in case of breakdowns are also part of your duties.
The technical infrastructure (25%)
At our Rumbeke site, you are responsible for all kinds of repairs and installations, such as barriers, fences, gates, racks, etc.
What do we expect from you?
You enjoy analysing and solving problems and make it a point of honour to reduce or prevent technical/mechanical failures.
You are interested in the world of recycling and renewable energy and want to work for a Belgian key player in this sector.
Having initial experience as a maintenance mechanic is an advantage.
Experience with welding and hydraulics is a plus.
You are looking for daytime work, but have a flexible attitude.
In principle, you will work 1 in 2 weeks on Saturday mornings and you will be available in case of serious technical problems.
You are Dutch-speaking, French-speaking or English-speaking.
